Zbych Trofimiuk, born on April 7, 1979, is a talented Czech-Australian who has worked as an actor, a language teacher, and an academic. Many people know him best for his amazing performances in popular children's TV shows. He won an award for playing Mike Masters in the adventure series Sky Trackers. He also starred as the main character, Paul Reynolds, in the exciting science fiction series Spellbinder.

Early Life and Moving to Australia
Zbych was born in Prague, which is in the Czech Republic, in 1979. His mother, Zoja Trofimiuk, is a sculptor, and his father is Jurek Trofimiuk. When he was very young, he spoke Czech, Polish, and German. At just four years old, Zbych and his parents moved to Melbourne, Australia. There, he started learning English, adding another language to his skills! Later, in 2004, he earned a degree in Performance Studies from Victoria University in Melbourne.

Zbych Trofimiuk became well-known for his acting roles as a child in Australian television.
Early TV Appearances
In 1990, he appeared in a short TV series called Choices on ABC. This show featured mini-dramas that helped kids understand peer pressure and how to make good decisions. In 1994, he also had a role in an episode of A Country Practice, a popular Australian TV show.
Starring in Kid's Favorite Shows
The year 1995 was a big one for Zbych! He took on leading roles in two fantastic drama series made for children. First, he played Mike Masters in the educational adventure series Sky Trackers. His performance was so good that he won the Australian Film Institute's Young Actor Award for it.
Next, he starred as Paul Reynolds, the main character, in the thrilling science fiction series Spellbinder. Both Sky Trackers and Spellbinder were highly praised. They each won the Australian Film Institute's Award for Best Children's Television Drama (Sky Trackers in 1994 and Spellbinder in 1996). Also in 1995, Zbych made a guest appearance in an episode of Snowy River - The McGregor Saga.

Zbych also explored acting in theatre and film.

In 2005, Zbych performed in a play called "Bunny" at the La Mama Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. He later helped direct another play, "Elmo," in 2007.
