Zdenka Ticharich's Early Life and Studies
Zdenka Ticharich was born in Budapest, Hungary. She began her music studies at the National School of Music. There, she learned from a teacher named István Tomka.
Later, Zdenka went to the Berlin University of the Arts. She continued to study piano with famous teachers like Ferruccio Busoni and Emil Sauer. From 1923 to 1925, she also studied how to compose music with Franz Schreker.
Teaching and Later Years
After her studies, Zdenka Ticharich became a respected music teacher. From 1947 to 1969, she taught piano at the Budapest Academy of Music. She helped many young musicians learn to play. Zdenka Ticharich passed away in Budapest in 1979.
