Zdravko Mamić was born on July 16, 1959. He is a former football leader and sports agent from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 2003 to 2016, he was the main director of the Croatian football club GNK Dinamo Zagreb.
Mamić also worked as an advisor for another club, NK Lokomotiva. Later, from 2016 to 2021, he was an advisor for Dinamo Zagreb. In 2018, he faced legal issues in Croatia. Because of these issues, he moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he has lived since then.

Early Life and Family
Zdravko Mamić was born in Bjelovar, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time. His parents, Josip and Lucija Mamić, were from villages in Herzegovina. They moved to Croatia in 1956 to find more work.
Zdravko has two brothers. Both of them became professional football players. His older brother is Stojan Mamić, born in 1957. His younger brother is Zoran, born in 1971.
In the 1970s, when Zdravko was a teenager, he moved with his brothers to Sesvete, a suburb of Zagreb. Their father was working in West Germany at that time.
Working in Football
Zdravko Mamić first got involved with GNK Dinamo Zagreb through the club's passionate fans, known as the Bad Blue Boys.
In the 1980s, Mamić became friends with Miroslav Blažević, who was the manager of Dinamo at the time. This friendship helped him get more involved with the club. In February 2016, he stepped down as the executive director. However, he returned to the club as an advisor. On March 16, 2021, he officially left all his roles at Dinamo Zagreb.
Legal Challenges
In 2009, a football player named Eduardo da Silva took Mamić to court. The player said his contract was unfair because he had to pay a large part of his salary to Mamić's family for his whole career. Eduardo da Silva won this case in 2014.
On November 18, 2015, Mamić and five other people were arrested. They were suspected of issues related to player transfers at Dinamo Zagreb.
On June 6, 2018, a court made a decision about Mamić. The court found him responsible for issues related to the transfers of players Luka Modrić and Dejan Lovren. These players moved to clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Olympique Lyonnais. Mamić, his brother Zoran, and others were found to have caused financial losses to Dinamo and the government. Mamić had already crossed the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina the day before this decision. He stated he would not return to Croatia.
The court in Bosnia and Herzegovina did not send Mamić back to Croatia because he also has Bosnian citizenship. Croatia's highest court confirmed the decision against Mamić on March 15, 2021.
Personal Life
An Incident in Bosnia and Herzegovina
On August 22, 2017, Mamić was visiting the village of Zidine near Tomislavgrad in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was during his yearly visit to mark the anniversary of his father's passing. While he was getting out of his car, two masked people opened fire. Mamić was injured in his leg during this incident.
