History of Zero Gravity Park

Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park has a cool history. It all started in Dallas, Texas, back in 1992.

How the Park Began

Alan Putter started a company called Amusement Management International in 1992. At first, the company was named Fun Adventures Inc. In 1993, they started operating the original Skycoaster. Soon after, they built permanent Skycoasters. These were located in Dallas and at FIESTA Texas Theme Park in San Antonio.

New Rides Join the Fun

In 1992, the Ejection Seat ride, also known as the Texas Blast Off, was added. Then, in 1999, Amusement Management International brought in two more exciting rides. These were a vertical accelerator and two Skyscraper rides.

Expanding Operations

In 2000, Amusement Management International became the Skycoaster operator for Six Flags Over Texas. The next year, in 2001, they became the only US operator for the Adrenaline Drop. This was a unique freefall experience. Finally, in 2003, Amusement Management International officially bought the park.
