Zita Görög was born in Nagybátony, Hungary. She studied drama at the Bródy Imre Grammar School in Budapest.
Starting as a Model
Zita began her modeling career at 18 years old. Her first big job was a fashion show in Paris for the brand agnès b. She worked alongside another famous model, Laetitia Casta. Since then, Zita has appeared in campaigns for many well-known brands. These include Mont Blanc, Benetton, Vodafone, Nivea, Coppertone, and Nissan.
Television and Movies
Zita Görög has also been a popular television host. She hosted weekly TV shows like Cinematrix and Megasztár. Megasztár was a very popular talent show in Hungary, similar to Pop Idol.
She has acted in several movies, both Hungarian and international. Some of her film roles include parts in Den Of Lions and Café In The Sky. Outside of Hungary, she is most recognized for her role as the vampire elder Amelia. She played this character in the fantasy action films Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, and Underworld: Blood Wars.

Zita Görög was previously married to Attila Seres. Later, in 2015, she married Tamás Koltai.
