Welcome to Planet Zi: The World of Zoids

The story of Zoids: Chaotic Century takes place far away in space, on a planet called Zi. This planet is special because it's home to amazing metallic life-forms known as Zoids. These Zoids are super powerful and have been used as weapons in a long-running war.

What are Zoids?

Zoids are giant mechanical creatures that look like animals. They can be used for fighting, transport, or even just for fun. Each Zoid has a unique design and special abilities. They are a big part of life on Planet Zi.

The Helic Republic and Guylos Empire

For a long time, two big nations on Planet Zi, the Helic Republic and the Guylos Empire, have been fighting. When our story begins, there's a ceasefire, which means they've stopped fighting for a while. But things are still tense, and small battles happen. Both sides are trying to find ancient technology from the "Ancient Zoidians" to get an advantage.

Meet the Heroes

The show follows a teenage boy named Van Flyheight. One day, he finds a mysterious girl named Fiona and a small, special Zoid called Zeke. Zeke is an Organoid, which means he can combine with other Zoids to make them much stronger! Van and Fiona team up to uncover Fiona's forgotten past.

On their journey, they meet Moonbay, a friendly transporter, and Irvine, a skilled mercenary. Irvine starts as an enemy but soon joins their group. As they travel across the Helic Republic, a new war starts, and our heroes find themselves right in the middle of it!

The Adventure Begins: Van's Journey

Before the show starts, there was a big war between the Guylos Empire and the Helic Republic. It ended with a ceasefire. The story begins with Van being chased by some bad Zoid pilots. He finds the Organoid Zeke in some old ruins near his village.

Zeke and Fiona's Discovery

Zeke brings an old Shield Liger Zoid back to life, and Van uses it to fight off the bandits. When Van goes back to the ruins, he finds Fiona, a girl who has lost all her memories. The bandits come back to Van's village to try and steal Zeke. To keep his village safe, Van leaves with Fiona. Fiona mentions something called Zoid Eve, and Van decides to help her find it, hoping it will bring back her memories.

New Friends and Rivals

Soon after, they meet Irvine. At first, Van and Irvine don't get along because Irvine wants to steal Zeke. But they end up traveling together when they meet Moonbay. Moonbay helps Van, but her cargo gets blown up, so Van has to travel with her to make up for it.

Later, the four heroes arrive at a Republic army base. They help stop an attack by the Empire, led by a bad guy named Prozen. After this, Van and his friends try to stay out of the war.

Battles with Raven

However, Van gets pulled back in when he meets Raven, a top pilot from the Guylos Empire. Raven is very brutal, and Van quickly develops a strong dislike for him. They fight, but Van is no match for Raven. Van challenges Raven again and loses a second time. Zeke gets badly hurt, but Van manages to save him.

The Imperial army keeps moving into Republic land. They are finally stopped by the Republic's new weapon, the Gojulas. Van and the others eventually reach the Republic's capital, hoping to find clues about Zoid Eve. But they get caught in the Empire's surprise attack on the city. During this battle, Van finally defeats Raven.

The Rise of the Death Saurer

The war stops when Prince Rudolph, the Empire's crown prince, orders a ceasefire. But Prozen doesn't want to give up. He tries to kill the prince. Two former bandits, Rosso and Viola, stop Prozen's plan and kidnap the prince for money. Prozen then says the prince is dead and takes control of the Empire himself.

Prozen finds old stories about a super powerful Zoid called the Death Saurer. He tries to clone it. From this research, a new Zoid called the Geno Saurer is created and given to Raven. Raven uses the Geno Saurer to destroy Van's Shield Liger. But Zeke and Fiona later bring the Shield Liger back to life as the even stronger Blade Liger!

Fiona's Secret and the Final Battle

It turns out that Fiona is an Ancient Zoidian, a race that lived on Planet Zi long before humans. Rudolph joins Van and his friends. They try to take him to the Empire's capital to stop Prozen from taking over and restarting the war. When Rudolph reappears, Prozen claims he's a fake, making the Imperial forces fight against the prince and his friends. Van faces Raven again in a tough battle and destroys the Geno Saurer. Raven survives thanks to his Organoid, Shadow.

Van and his friends successfully return Rudolph to the capital. But Prozen unleashes his cloned Death Saurer. This monster goes on a rampage and almost destroys the capital. The combined armies of the Empire and Republic can't stop it. Van uses what he learned fighting the Geno Saurer to destroy the Death Saurer. Prozen, who was riding the Death Saurer, seems to be killed. Rudolph becomes the new emperor, and peace begins between the Empire and Republic. Van and Fiona leave to continue their search for Zoid Eve.

The Guardian Force and New Threats

Two years later, Van joins the Helic army. He meets Fiona, who is now a military researcher. They decide to search for Zoid Eve again. Van and Fiona are assigned to the Guardian Force, a special team made up of soldiers from both the Empire and the Republic. They work with Thomas Schubaltz from the Empire to fight anyone who threatens the new peace.

The Guardian Force faces new enemies. They often meet two mysterious people with Organoids: Reese and Hiltz. Raven also returns, piloting different Zoids until he gets a new Geno Saurer that turns into the powerful Geno Breaker.

The Death Stinger and Zoid Eve

Eventually, it's revealed that Reese and Hiltz are trying to awaken a huge and powerful Zoid called the Death Stinger. This Zoid can destroy cities with its powerful beam! Hiltz uses the Death Stinger to destroy the Republic's capital, even with many soldiers trying to stop him.

The remaining forces gather and awaken the Ultrasaurus, a giant mobile fortress Zoid. It's a last resort weapon! The Ultrasaurus is fitted with a huge gravity cannon. Hiltz continues destroying things. The Ultrasaurus chases him, and Van, Irvine, and Thomas work together to hold down the Death Stinger for the gravity cannon. They hit it, and its core shuts down, turning it to stone.

But Hiltz's Organoid, Ambient, combines with the Death Stinger, bringing it back to life! Van and his friends fight the weakened Death Stinger. Then, Hiltz, the Death Stinger, and Fiona all disappear in a flash of light.

The Truth About Zoid Eve

Fiona reappears in front of the Dark Kaiser, who is actually Prozen merged with the Death Saurer's core! He tricks Fiona into opening the doors to Evopolis, an ancient Zoidian city where Zoid Eve is located. Fiona gets her memories back and explains that Zoid Eve is the source of life for all Zoids. Zoids brought great prosperity, but some people used them for war. The Death Saurer was created to end all wars, but it started destroying everything instead. The Zoidians couldn't destroy Zoid Eve, as that would end all Zoid life, so they sealed it away with the Death Saurer's body.

Hiltz and the Death Stinger reappear in front of Van. Van fights Hiltz, even without his own Organoid, Zeke, and surprises Hiltz with his skill. Van and the Death Stinger arrive at Evopolis. Prozen demands that the Death Stinger merge with him to become the Death Saurer. But the core absorbs Prozen instead! Hiltz and the Death Stinger merge with the Death Saurer core, bringing the monster back to life. This awakened Death Saurer is much stronger than before. Even the combined armies, Van, Raven, Reese, and a fourth gravity cannon shot can't hurt it.

The Death Saurer and Hiltz are finally stopped when Van's Blade Liger is fired from the gravity cannon like a bullet, piercing the Death Saurer's core! After the Death Saurer is destroyed, Planet Zi finally lives in peace.
