Åsa Tindra Jinder (born 9 October 1963) is a talented Swedish musician. She plays a special instrument called the nyckelharpa. Åsa is also a composer, producer, songwriter, author, and lecturer. She has had many successful albums in Sweden.
Åsa Jinder lives in Stockholm, Sweden. For a period between 2006 and 2017, she lived in Acktjära, a place near Bollnäs in Hälsingland.

Åsa Jinder's Musical Journey
Åsa Jinder has achieved many great things in her music career. She is especially known for her skill with the nyckelharpa. The nyckelharpa is a traditional Swedish string instrument. It looks a bit like a violin but has keys, similar to a keyboard.
Becoming a National Folk Musician
In 1979, Åsa Jinder made history. She was the youngest person ever to receive the title of Riksspelman. This special title means "National Folk Musician." It is given to people who are masters of Swedish folk music. This award showed everyone how incredibly talented she was, even at a young age.
Eurovision Song Contest Success
In 1995, Åsa Jinder joined the Norwegian/Irish music group Secret Garden. She played her nyckelharpa with them. Along with vocalist Gunnhild Tvinnereim, they helped Secret Garden win the Eurovision Song Contest. Their winning song was called "Nocturne". The Eurovision Song Contest is a huge international music competition. Different countries from Europe compete with original songs. Winning it is a very big deal!
