África Lorente Castillo (born 16 October 1954 – died 1 May 2020) was a Spanish politician and activist. She was born in Tangier, Morocco. She was known for being a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, a major political group in Spain. Lorente Castillo also supported the idea of Catalan independence, which means the region of Catalonia becoming its own country.
