José Alejandro Lora Serna (born December 2, 1952), known as Álex Lora, is a famous Mexican musician and composer. He is best known as the leader of the Mexican rock band El Tri. He has been the frontman of this band for over 50 years!
Álex Lora started his first band on October 12, 1968. It was called Three souls in my mind. Later, because of some disagreements, Álex decided to form a new band. His fans used to call his old band "El Tri," so he named his new band El Tri.
In 2006, a music website called him "legendary." He has received many honors. His hometown of Puebla named him a "Distinguished Pueblan Citizen." He also received the keys to the city in Miami. In his hometown of Tequela,Nayarit, November 10, 2002, was named "Álex Lora Day." There is even a statue of him there!
