Ángel Pérez García (born October 16, 1957 – died October 16, 2019) was a Spanish football player and manager. He was known for playing as a defender. Ángel played for famous clubs like Real Madrid and Real Murcia during his career.

Playing Career
Ángel Pérez García was born in Madrid, Spain. He started his football journey early. In 1973, when he was 16, he joined the youth team of Real Madrid. He had impressed them during a tryout.
His first professional match was on September 3, 1978. He played for Real Madrid's reserve team. This game was in the Segunda División, which is Spain's second-highest football league.
In April 1980, Ángel moved up to Real Madrid's main team. He made his debut in La Liga, Spain's top league. He played as a substitute in a match against Sporting de Gijón. After playing ten league games, he was loaned to Real Murcia, another team in the second division.
Ángel returned to Real Madrid in 1982. Soon after, he was sold to Elche CF, also in the second division. His team, Elche, earned a promotion to the top league in his second season there. In 1985, he went back to Real Murcia. He played for them for many years, moving between the top league and the second division.
He left Real Murcia in 1991. He then joined a smaller club called CD Roldán. Ángel Pérez García retired from playing football in 1992, when he was 34 years old.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Ángel Pérez García became a football coach. In 2004, he started working at UD Almería. He was in charge of their youth teams. The next season, he became the manager of their reserve team.
For two years, he worked as an instructor. He taught coaches from Real Madrid in Central America. In June 2009, he became the head coach for Sangonera Atlético CF.
Later, on December 3, 2009, Ángel was named manager of CF Atlético Ciudad. However, he left that role in February of the next year.
On February 12, 2011, he took on a new coaching job at Ittihad El Shorta. He left this team the following year. On November 27, 2013, he moved to the Maldives to coach New Radiant SC.
In May 2014, Ángel moved to Poland to manage Piast Gliwice. He was dismissed from this club in March 2015. He continued his coaching career with other teams in different countries.
Death
Ángel Pérez García passed away on October 16, 2019, in Murcia, Spain. This was on his 62nd birthday.
