Şeref Görkey (born January 1, 1913 – died November 10, 2004) was a famous Turkish football player and coach. He spent almost his entire playing career with the Turkish team Beşiktaş.
People called him Voleci Şeref, which means "Şeref the Volley Scorer." This was because he scored an amazing 99 goals using volley shots! A volley is when you kick the ball before it touches the ground. Şeref Görkey always wore the number 10 jersey for Beşiktaş. He was also part of Turkey's team for the 1936 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any games there.

Playing for Beşiktaş
Şeref Görkey was a fantastic goal scorer. He scored a total of 320 goals during his career. He was especially good at scoring against Beşiktaş's biggest rivals. He scored 30 goals against Galatasaray and 13 goals against Fenerbahçe. These goals were very important in the fierce rivalries between these teams.
Playing for His Country
Şeref Görkey also played for the Turkish national team. He played one game in 1936 and scored one goal for his country. This game was a friendly match against Yugoslavia, and the score was 3–3.
Becoming a Coach
After he stopped playing, Şeref Görkey became a football coach. He coached several teams over the years. Some of the teams he managed include:
