Who Won the Driver's Championship?
The main prize for a driver is the World Championship. In 2003, the champion was Michael Schumacher. He drove for the Ferrari team and won his sixth championship overall, and his fourth in a row! It was a very close battle, and he only just managed to win.
Right behind Schumacher was Kimi Räikkönen from the McLaren team. He was super close, finishing just two points behind Michael Schumacher. It was a nail-biting finish to the season!
Coming in third place was Juan Pablo Montoya, who raced for the Williams team. He also had a great season, showing off his skills on the track. Other top drivers included Rubens Barrichello (from Ferrari) in fourth place and Ralf Schumacher (from Williams) in fifth.
