The Super Regional round is a very exciting part of the 2021 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It's where the top college baseball teams play in a "best-of-three" series. This means a team has to win two games to move on. The winners of these eight series get to go to the 2021 College World Series, which is the final championship tournament.
Here are the teams that played in the Super Regionals and who won:
- The Arkansas Razorbacks played against the NC State Wolfpack. NC State won the series 2–1.
- The Texas Tech Red Raiders played against the Stanford Cardinal. Stanford won the series 2–0.
- The Arizona Wildcats played against the Ole Miss Rebels. Arizona won the series 2–1.
- The Vanderbilt Commodores played against the East Carolina Pirates. Vanderbilt won the series 2–0.
- The Texas Longhorns played against the [[{{{school}}}|South Florida Bulls]]. Texas won the series 2–0.
- The Mississippi State Bulldogs played against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Mississippi State won the series 2–1.
- The Dallas Baptist Patriots played against the Virginia Cavaliers. Virginia won the series 2–1.
- The Tennessee Volunteers played against the LSU Tigers. Tennessee won the series 2–0.
The team with the higher ranking (the "higher seed") got to host all three games in their home stadium. This gave them a home-field advantage. The higher-ranked team was the "home team" in Game 1 and, if needed, Game 3. The lower-ranked team was the "home team" in Game 2. The only exception was the series between Dallas Baptist and Virginia, which was held at Founders Park in Columbia, South Carolina.
