The Story of 4MyCiTy
Christopher Dipnarine started 4MyCiTy in October 2018. The group officially became a non-profit on August 30, 2019. Their main office is in Baltimore, Maryland. All the people on their Board of Directors are volunteers. They give their time to help the organization.
Where 4MyCiTy Works
4MyCiTy mostly helps people in Maryland. They focus a lot on Baltimore City. But they also have operations in other states. These include Washington D.C., Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. This means they help many communities.
Making a Big Difference
Since 4MyCiTy began, they have done amazing things. They have saved over 140 million pounds of food. This food would have been wasted. Instead, it went to families who were hungry. That's like providing 117 million meals! 4MyCiTy has also earned a "Platinum Seal of Transparency." This award is from Guidestar, a group called Candid. It shows that 4MyCiTy is very open and honest about its work.
