98 Degrees (also known as 98°) is an American pop and R&B music group. It has four singers: Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons, and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey. Jeff Timmons started the group in Los Angeles, California. All the members are from Ohio.

Unlike many other boy bands, 98 Degrees formed on their own. They did not get together because a record label or producer told them to. They joined a record label later.

The group has sold more than 10 million records around the world. They have also had eight songs that reached the top 40 in the United States.

About 98 Degrees

Some popular songs from 98 Degrees include "This Gift," "True to Your Heart," and "Invisible Man." In 1999, the group released a Christmas album called This Christmas. Over one million copies of this album were sold.

In 2002, the group decided to take a break. They stopped making music and going on tours. In 2012, the group got back together. They released a new album called 2.0 in May 2013.
