In 2002, he finished his first book, Tommy Storm. However, it was hard to find a publisher. This was because he was a new writer. Four years later, he decided to publish the book himself. He printed 5,000 copies. After about 4,000 books were sold, a company called Quercus bought the rights to publish it.

A. J. Healy had plans for a third Tommy Storm book. But he put those plans on hold. He decided to focus on a very important issue. He wanted to help fight climate change.

Instead of just talking about it, he wanted to act. He is now working on new business ideas. These projects aim to help protect our planet. They are all about finding solutions for climate change.
