The club also represents the nearby towns of Terno d'Isola and Chignolo d'Isola in Lombardy, Italy. They currently play in Serie D, which is one of Italy's top football leagues.

The club began in 1910 in Ponte San Pietro. It was first known as Società Sportiva Vita Nota. Later, in 1950, its name changed to Unione Sportiva Ponte San Pietro.
