AKMU (also known as Akdong Musician) is a popular music duo from South Korea. It is made up of a brother and sister, Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Suhyun. They are known for their unique sound and catchy songs.
The duo first performed together in 2012 at an audition for a company called LOEN. They later signed with a big music company, YG Entertainment. AKMU officially started their music career in 2014 with their first album, PLAY. In 2017, Chanhyuk went to serve in the military, which meant the group took a break until he returned.
