ASB Business was a TV show in New Zealand. It was about business news. The show helped people understand important business topics. It aired on TV3 every weekday morning. It was on from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM. After ASB Business, another show called Sunrise would start.
About the Show
The show ASB Business changed its format over time. Before October 2008, it was a part of the Sunrise show. Sunrise started at 6:30 AM.
To get more people interested in business news, especially in Auckland, TV3 made a change. From October 6, 2008, ASB Business became its own 30-minute show. It started at 6:30 AM. A financial journalist named Michael Wilson was the host. After this change, Sunrise began at 7:00 AM. It still had business news updates.
TV3 stopped broadcasting ASB Business on April 8, 2010. They said the show was too expensive to keep on air.
It's interesting to know that another TV channel, TVNZ, also had a morning business show. It was called ASB Business too, but it was a different program. That show is now called NZI Business.
