During the 1990s, Aaron Freeman hosted a weekly radio show called Metropolis. This show shared information and was heard across the Midwest United States. He also shares his thoughts as a commentator on NPR's main news program, All Things Considered.

Aaron Freeman's Personal Life

Aaron Freeman was born in Kankakee, Illinois. He has lived in the Chicago area for a long time. He grew up Roman Catholic but later became Jewish.

He is married to an artist named Sharon Rosenzweig. They work together on projects, including a comic strip called The Comic Torah. Aaron has twin daughters, Artemis and Diana. They were featured with him on an episode of This American Life called Name Change / No Theme. This episode was recorded during a trip to Chicago's Navy Pier.
