Aaron Stevens is an American college baseball coach. He also used to play baseball in college. He played as a third baseman for Nicholls State from 1985 to 1988. Later, he became the head coach for the Mississippi Valley State Devils baseball team. He coached them from 2015 to 2021.
Growing Up and College
Aaron Stevens went to Lanier High School. This school is in Jackson, Mississippi. After high school, he received a scholarship to attend Nicholls State University. A scholarship helps pay for college. He got it because he was a talented baseball player.
Becoming a Coach
Aaron Stevens worked as an assistant coach for 14 years. He was at Mississippi Valley State University. An assistant coach helps the main coach. They help with training players and planning games.
On December 2, 2014, Aaron Stevens became the head coach. This means he was in charge of the entire baseball team. He led the Mississippi Valley State Devils for several seasons.
His teams had some tough years. In 2020 and 2021, they did not win any games. Because of this, he was not kept as the coach for the 2022 season. Overall, his record as head coach was 39 wins, 203 losses, and 1 tie.
