Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed (Afar: Qabdulkadir Kamil Macammad, Arabic: عبد القادر كامل محمد; born 1 July 1952) is a politician from Djibouti. Since 2013, he has been the Prime Minister of Djibouti. He is a long-time member of the main political party, the People's Rally for Progress. Before becoming Prime Minister, he served as the Minister of Agriculture and then as the Minister of Defense.

About His Life
Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed was born in 1952. His birthplace was Souali, a town in the northern Obock Region of Djibouti.
He went to university in France. He studied at the University of Limoges. There, he earned a degree in technical sciences. His studies focused on managing water and protecting the environment.
His Career in Government
Early Career and Politics
Mohamed started his career working with water. He worked for Djibouti's water authority. This organization later became known as ONED. He was a director there from 1978 to 2005.
In 1981, Mohamed joined the People's Rally for Progress (RPP) party. He slowly moved up in the party. In September 2012, he was chosen as the RPP Vice-President. He was later named president of the Union for a Presidential Majority (UMP) in November 2012.
From May 2005 to May 2011, Mohamed worked in the government. He served as the Minister of Agriculture. After that, in May 2011, he became the Minister of Defense.
Mohamed also served as a Deputy in the National Assembly. He was re-elected to this role on February 22, 2013. This happened after the UMP party won the parliamentary election.
Becoming Prime Minister
On March 1, 2013, Mohamed was chosen to be the Prime Minister of Djibouti. He took over from Dileita Mohamed Dileita. Mohamed officially started his new job on April 1, 2013.
