Abejuela is a small village in Albacete, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It is part of the larger area called Letur. The village is located in the western part of Letur. It is close to the town of Férez. The Abejuela stream flows through the village. About 58 people live in Abejuela.

Abejuela's Past

Abejuela was founded a long time ago. It started as a place for travelers to stop. Shepherds often used the village as a resting spot. They would stop here on their way to farms and animal pens in the mountains.

Getting to Abejuela

You can reach Abejuela by a local road. This road is called A-36. It connects to a main highway, CM-3217. The turn-off for Abejuela is near a small area called Las Cañadas.

What's in Abejuela?

Abejuela once had a school. It is now closed because there are not many young people. The building has been renovated since then. The village also has a health center for its residents.

Among the old buildings, there is a laundry room. It is not in good condition today. There is also the St. Bartholomew chapel. This chapel is much better preserved. It is a simple building with a wooden roof. It also has a small staircase at its entrance.
