Achraf Zouhair Dari, born on May 6, 1999, is a professional football player from Morocco. He plays as a centre-back, which is a defender who helps protect the goal. Achraf currently plays for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly. He has also played for the Morocco national team. He started his amazing football journey with Wydad AC.

Achraf Dari played for Morocco's youth teams before joining the main national team in 2021. He was part of Morocco's team for the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup.

Club Career

Playing for Wydad

Achraf Dari began his professional football career with Wydad AC, a well-known club. On May 31, 2022, Achraf won his first big international trophy with Wydad. They beat Al Ahly 2–0 in the 2022 CAF Champions League Final. This was a huge win for him and his team. Later, on June 30, 2022, Achraf was even nominated for the CAF Awards as one of the best club players of the year.

Moving to Brest

On July 30, 2022, Achraf Dari moved to France to play for Ligue 1 club Brest. He signed a four-year contract with them. The transfer fee paid to Wydad AC was about €2.7 million. Achraf played his first game for Brest on August 7, 2022, against RC Lens. Just a few weeks later, on August 21, he scored his first goal for the club. This goal helped Brest win 3–1 against Angers SCO.

On February 1, 2024, Achraf went on loan to Charleroi in Belgium to gain more playing experience.

Joining Al Ahly

On August 28, 2024, Achraf Dari made another big move in his career. He joined the Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly. This is where he plays now.

International Career

Playing for Morocco

Achraf Dari first played for the Morocco A' national team in a game against Saudi Arabia. This match was part of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, and Morocco won 1–0. On June 12, 2022, Achraf was called up to join the main Morocco senior football team. He played his first game for the senior team in a 2–0 victory against Liberia. This game was a qualifier for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification and took place in the Stade Mohammed V.

In September 2022, Achraf was again called to play for the Morocco national team. He took part in friendly matches against Chile and Paraguay.

World Cup Experience

On November 10, 2022, Achraf Dari was chosen to be part of Morocco's 23-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This was a huge achievement for him. On December 17, during the World Cup third-place playoff game against Croatia, he scored his first goal for the national team. Even though Morocco lost that game 2–1, scoring in a World Cup match was a very special moment for Achraf.
