Adam Michael Rodriguez (born April 2, 1975) is an American actor, screenwriter, and director. He is best known for playing Eric Delko in the popular TV show CSI: Miami. He also played Task Force Agent Luke Alvez in Criminal Minds.

Early Life and Dreams
Adam Rodriguez was born in Yonkers, New York, on April 2, 1975. His mother, Janet, worked for an airline, and his father, Ramon, was an executive. Adam's family background includes both Puerto Rican and Cuban heritage.
He went to Clarkstown High School North in New City, New York, and finished in 1993. When he was younger, Adam really wanted to be a professional baseball player. But after an injury in high school, he changed his focus to acting. He started performing in a children's theater in New York, which was the beginning of his acting journey.
Adam's Acting Career
Adam Rodriguez has appeared in many commercials, including one for Coca-Cola. His very first movie appearance was a small role in The X-Files. After that, he started getting roles in TV shows like Brooklyn South, Law & Order, Felicity, Roswell, and NYPD Blue.
He also showed up in several music videos for famous artists. These include Jennifer Lopez's "If You Had My Love", Busta Rhymes' "Respect My Conglomerate", and Lionel Richie's "I Call It Love". He was even part of the "Yes We Can" video, which supported Barack Obama.
Solving Crimes on TV
Adam became a main cast member of CSI: Miami when it started in 2002. In the show, he played Eric Delko, a crime scene investigator who helped solve mysteries. He was on the show for many years, until it ended in 2012. He even got to direct and write an episode called "Hunting Ground" for the show.
Later, in 2016, Adam joined another popular crime show, Criminal Minds. He played Luke Alvez, an FBI agent who is part of a special team that studies criminal behavior to catch bad guys. He became a main character in season 12 and has been on the show since then.
Movies and Other Roles
Adam has also starred in several movies. In 2009, he was in the film I Can Do Bad All by Myself. He is also known for his role as Tito in the Magic Mike movies, including Magic Mike (2012), Magic Mike XXL (2015), and Magic Mike's Last Dance (2023).
In 2015, he played Dr. Chavez in the TV series The Night Shift. In 2021, he had a recurring role as Bobby Diaz in the NBC drama series Ordinary Joe.
Personal Life
Adam Rodriguez married model Grace Gail in 2016. Grace is the daughter of actor Maxwell Gail. Adam and Grace have three children together. Their son, Bridgemont Bernard Rodriguez, was born on March 16, 2020.
