Club Career Highlights
Starting Her Professional Journey
Addisyn Merrick started her professional soccer career with the North Carolina Courage. Her first game was on June 27, 2020. It was during the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup, and they played against Portland Thorns FC.
Playing for Racing Louisville
In November 2020, Addisyn joined Racing Louisville FC. This happened during the 2020 NWSL Expansion Draft. She played her first game for Racing on June 23. She only played in three matches before getting an ankle injury.
Addisyn got healthy again for the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup. She started the first five games of that competition. She also started two regular season games for Racing Louisville. One important start against San Diego led to a win.
Moving to Kansas City Current
Addisyn Merrick was traded to the Kansas City Current on June 9, 2022. Another player, Cece Kizer, also moved with her. Addisyn played her first game for Kansas City on June 11, 2022. She came into the game in the 61st minute against Gotham FC. Her first time starting a game for the Current was on July 10, 2022, against the Washington Spirit.
Time with Utah Royals and Carolina Ascent
Addisyn signed with Utah Royals in December 2023. She played with them for a while. In September 2024, Addisyn and the Utah Royals team decided to go separate ways.
On September 5, 2024, Addisyn Merrick signed with Carolina Ascent FC. This team is part of the USL Super League.
