Adel Abbas Tamano (born October 2, 1970) is a Filipino lawyer and educator. He is currently a top leader at DITO Telecommunity Corporation. He helps manage the company's operations, human resources, and legal matters.
Adel Tamano became well-known in 2007 as a spokesperson for the United Opposition political group. He also ran for a seat in the Philippine Senate in 2010.

Early Life and Education
Adel Tamano was born in Manila, Philippines, on October 2, 1970. His father was Senator Mamintal A.J. Tamano, and his mother was Hadja Putri Zorayda Abbas Tamano, a community leader. Adel was their eighth child.
He began his college studies at The Ateneo de Manila University, where he earned a degree in Economics. He continued his education and received several more degrees. He earned a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the Ateneo de Manila University. Later, he completed a Master's in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines in 2003. In 2005, he earned a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School in the United States.
Professional Journey
Adel Tamano started his legal career working with a respected lawyer named Estelito P. Mendoza. This experience gave him important practical skills in law. He then worked as an associate lawyer at several law firms before opening his own firm in 2004.
Roles in Education
Tamano has also worked as a teacher and leader in schools and universities. From 2011 to 2012, he served as the Dean of the College of Law at Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro. Before that, he was the President of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila) from 2007 to 2009.

In 2011, Tamano joined the business world. He became the Vice President for Public Affairs and Communications at Coca-Cola Philippines.
In 2019, he took on a major role at DITO Telecommunity Corporation. He became the Chief Administrative Officer, Chief of Human Resources, and Corporate Secretary. Under his leadership, DITO Telecommunity has been growing in the competitive Philippine market.

Adel Tamano played a crucial role in the creation and launch of DITO Telecommunity. This company became the third major telecommunications provider in the Philippines. He helped lead the company through the bidding process, its setup, and its official start of services.
