Adil Ahmad Khan was born on July 7, 1988. He is a professional football player from India. Adil plays as a defender, usually in the center, or as a defensive midfielder. He currently plays for Kannur Warriors FC and also for the Indian national team.

Adil Khan's Club Journey
Starting with Sporting Goa
Adil Khan began his football journey at the Sesa Football Academy in 2003. He played there for five years. In 2008, he joined Sporting Goa. He stayed with Sporting for five years. During this time, he played in different positions, mainly as a full-back and a central midfielder. He scored 12 goals for the team.
Playing for Mohun Bagan
In 2013, Adil Khan signed a one-year deal with Mohun Bagan, a famous club from Kolkata. He played his first game for Bagan on October 22, 2013, against Bengaluru. The match ended in a 1–1 draw. He played only six more games for Mohun Bagan, mostly as a substitute player.
Time with Delhi Dynamos
Adil Khan joined Delhi Dynamos for the 2014 Indian Super League. He played as a right-back in seven matches. Even with his efforts, his team did not make it to the semi-finals that season.
Injury at Bharat FC
Adil joined a new team called Bharat for the 2014–15 season. However, before the season even started, he got a serious injury. This injury kept him from playing for the entire season. His team finished last and was later closed down. Adil had surgery on his injury after the season ended.
Comeback with Lonestar Kashmir
After recovering from his injury, Adil Khan signed a three-month contract with Lonestar Kashmir. This was for the 2015–16 season. He played in the group stage and the final round. His team finished sixth in the final round.
Playing for Dempo
After his time with Lonestar Kashmir, Adil signed a short-term deal with Dempo. He played for them in the Goa Professional League, which is a state-level tournament. His team did not play in the top-tier I-League that season.
Joining Churchill Brothers
Adil then joined Churchill Brothers for the 2016–17 I-League season. He started playing as a center-back and did very well in this new role. He played 18 times for Churchill Brothers. His team had a good season and finished in sixth place.
Moving to Pune City
Adil Khan signed a two-year contract with Pune City. He mainly played as a center-back for them. He played during the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons.
Playing for Hyderabad FC
In September 2019, Adil joined Hyderabad for the 2019–20 season. In January 2020, Hyderabad FC extended his contract for another three years.
Loan to FC Goa
On January 22, 2021, Adil Khan went on loan to Goa. This loan was for the 2020–21 season. He played his first game for Goa on January 29, against SC East Bengal.
