Adil Ahmad Khan (born 7 July 1988) is an Indian professional footballer. He plays as a defender or a defensive midfielder. Currently, he plays for Kannur Warriors FC and the India national team.

Adil Khan's Football Journey
Starting with Sporting Goa
Adil Khan began his football journey at the Sesa Football Academy in 2003. He trained there for five years. In 2008, he joined Sporting Goa. He played for Sporting Goa for five years. He played in different positions, like full-back and centre midfield. He scored 12 goals for the team.
Playing for Mohun Bagan
In 2013, Adil signed a one-year deal with Mohun Bagan, a famous club in Kolkata. He played his first game for them on 22 October 2013. The match ended in a 1–1 draw. He played only six more games for Mohun Bagan.
Time with Delhi Dynamos
Adil Khan then joined Delhi Dynamos in 2014. He played as a right-back in seven matches. However, his team did not make it to the semi-finals that season.
Injury at Bharat FC
He joined a new team called Bharat for the 2014–15 season. But before the season started, he got a serious injury. He missed the whole season because of it. His team finished last and was later closed down. Adil had surgery on his injury after the season.
Comeback with Lonestar Kashmir
After recovering, Adil signed a short deal with Lonestar Kashmir in 2016. This team played in the I-League 2nd Division. He played in the group stage and the final round. His team finished sixth in the final round.
Joining Dempo
After Lonestar Kashmir, he signed a short-term deal with Dempo. He played for them in the Goa Professional League. This is a state-level tournament.
Success at Churchill Brothers
Adil joined Churchill Brothers for the 2016–17 season. He changed his main position to a centre-back. He played 18 times for Churchill Brothers. His team had a good season and finished sixth.
Moving to Pune City
Khan then signed a two-year contract with Pune City. He mostly played as a centre-back there. He played for them during the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons.
Playing for Hyderabad
In September 2019, Adil joined Hyderabad. In January 2020, Hyderabad FC extended his contract for three more years.
Loan to FC Goa
On 22 January 2021, Adil Khan went on loan to Goa. He played for them during the 2020–21 season. He played his first game for Goa on 29 January.
Loan to SC East Bengal
In 2021, he joined SC East Bengal on loan. He played for them during the 2021–22 season.
Adil Khan's International Career
Adil Khan played his first international game for India on 27 February 2012. This match was against Azerbaijan. He scored his first goal for India in a 1–1 draw against Bangladesh. This goal was scored during the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. The match took place at Salt Lake Stadium.
