Adri's Football Journey
Starting Young
Adri was born in a place called Coria, in Extremadura, Spain. He started playing football at a young age. In 2014, when he was about 15, he joined the youth team of Real Valladolid. Before that, he played for other youth clubs like Club Internacional de la Amistad and EF Villamuriel.
First Steps as a Senior Player
After finishing his training with Real Valladolid's youth team, Adri took a big step. In 2018, he was loaned to a team called CD Cristo Atlético. This meant he played for them for a season while still belonging to Real Valladolid. CD Cristo Atlético was in a league called Tercera División, which is one of the lower professional football divisions in Spain.
Making a Mark
Adri played his first senior game on August 26, 2018. He came on as a substitute for the last 14 minutes of the game. He quickly showed his talent! On September 16, he scored his first goals, getting a hat-trick (which means three goals in one game!) in a big 5-0 win. By the end of that season, he had scored 14 goals, making him the top goalscorer for his club.
Moving Up the Ranks
In 2019, Adri joined CD Numancia. He first played for their reserve team, CD Numancia B, which is like a second team for younger players. They also played in the fourth division.
Professional Debut
Adri made his professional debut for the main Numancia team on February 15, 2020. This was a big moment because it was his first game in a higher league, the Segunda División. He came on as a substitute in a game against UD Las Palmas.
New Teams and Loans
In August 2020, Adri signed a two-year contract with CD Tenerife. However, he was immediately loaned out to Zamora CF for a year. This is common in football, where players are loaned to other teams to get more playing time and experience. Zamora CF was in a league called Segunda División B.
Adri continued to play for different clubs, gaining more experience in Spanish football. He later returned to Zamora CF and then played for CD Palencia Cristo Atlético again before joining his current team, Palencia CF.
