Adrián "Adri" Herrera González was born on January 3, 1999. He is a Spanish professional footballer. Adri plays as a forward for Palencia.
Adri's Football Journey
Adrián Herrera was born in Coria, a town in Spain. He started playing football at a young age. In 2014, he joined the youth team of Real Valladolid. Before that, he played for Club Internacional de la Amistad and EF Villamuriel.
Starting Senior Play
After finishing his training with Real Valladolid, Adri was loaned to CD Cristo Atlético. This team played in the Tercera División, which is a lower football league. He joined them for the 2018–19 season.
Adri played his first senior game on August 26, 2018. He came into the game for the last 14 minutes. His team won 3–0 against CD Bupolsa. On September 16, he scored his first goals. He got a hat-trick, which means he scored three goals in one game! His team won 5–0 against CF Briviesca. Adri ended that season with 14 goals. He was the top goal scorer for his club.
Moving to New Teams
On July 7, 2019, Adri moved to CD Numancia. He first played for their reserve team, CD Numancia B, also in the fourth division. A reserve team is like a second team for younger players.
Adri made his professional debut on February 15, 2020. This means he played his first game in a higher league. He came on as a late substitute for Marc Mateu. This game was a 1–1 draw against UD Las Palmas in the Segunda División.
On August 20, 2020, Adri signed a two-year contract with CD Tenerife. He was immediately loaned to Zamora CF for one year. Zamora CF played in the Segunda División B.
