Adrian Zaw (born May 7, 1984) is an American actor and producer. He is well-known for his role as Syrus Primoris in the TV show The Resistance, which aired on the SyFy channel.

Adrian Zaw's Acting Career
Adrian Zaw began his acting journey in a web series called "Satacracy 88." In this show, he played a character named Ariel Zim. A web series is like a TV show, but it's made to be watched online.
Awards for "Satacracy 88"
"Satacracy 88" was very successful. It won the first-ever Emmy for Outstanding Broadband Drama in 2007. An Emmy is a major award for television and online shows. That same year, the series also won a Webby Award for Best Dramatic Online Film and Video. Webby Awards celebrate the best content on the internet.
Creating "The Resistance"
After "Satacracy 88," Adrian Zaw started working with director Adrian Picardi. Adrian Zaw introduced Picardi to producers Don Le and Eric Ro. Together, they decided to create a new web series called The Resistance. Adrian Picardi was the main creator and director of this series.
The show first appeared as four short preview videos on YouTube. In The Resistance, Adrian Zaw plays the main villain, Syrus Primoris. His character is the ruler of a place called Aurordeca and wants to live forever. A group of heroes called "ARM Members" tries to stop him.
From Web to TV
Before the full web series was even filmed, big companies noticed The Resistance. Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures and Starz Media decided to support the show after seeing the YouTube previews.
The Resistance made history when it premiered on October 4, 2010. It was the first time a show made for the internet first aired on television. It was shown as a one-hour TV pilot on the SyFy channel. You could also watch the original 8-episode version on iTunes, Xbox Live, and the PlayStation Network.

Charity Videos
In 2010, Adrian Zaw helped produce many charity videos. He worked with Teddy Zee, who produced famous movies like Hitch and The Pursuit of Happyness. They also worked with Don Le and Stephen Liu, who founded Privy.net, a special social network.
These videos featured many Asian American celebrities, including John Cho and Sandra Oh. Over 100 talented people joined the campaign. Their goal was to win $1 million for the Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), an organization that helps families.
Encouraging Voting
In September 2010, Adrian Zaw produced videos for the first-ever AAPI Rock the Vote campaign. He worked with Teddy Zee, Don Le, and George Wang. This campaign encouraged Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) to vote in the 2010 elections.
