Adrienne “Adie” Camp (born Adrienne Liesching on 12 July 1981) is a talented singer and songwriter from South Africa. She is best known as the lead singer of the Christian pop-rock band The Benjamin Gate. The band was active until 2003. After The Benjamin Gate stopped making music, Adie sang with other artists. She performed a duet with rapper John Reuben on his album Professional Rapper. She also sang background vocals on her husband Jeremy Camp's albums, Restored and Live Unplugged.

As Adrienne Camp, she released her first solo album, Don't Wait, on 26 September 2006. Her husband, Jeremy Camp, helped produce this album. One of her songs, "Your Way," became very popular. It reached the Top 15 on R&R Magazine's Christian music chart in May 2007. Her second album, Just You and Me, came out on 9 March 2010.

About Adie's Life

Family and Marriage

In December 2003, Adrienne Liesching married American musician Jeremy Camp. They first met in 2002 during a three-month music tour. The couple now has three children together.

Adie's Singing Voice

Music critics have often praised Adie's unique voice. Todd Hertz from Christianity Today described her voice as both "lovely and ferocious." He noted it had a "strange combination" of the soft, wavering style of Björk and the powerful sound of Shirley Manson. Another reviewer from the Daily Herald newspaper said Adie's voice reminded them of singers like Gwen Stefani, Aimee Echo, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira. Even with these comparisons, her voice always remained "very unique and distinctive."
