Minor League Journey
Adron started his professional baseball journey in 2007. He played for the Johnson City Cardinals. In 2008, he moved to the Quad Cities River Bandits. He showed his speed by stealing 13 bases that year.
In 2009, he played for the Palm Beach Cardinals. He continued to show his speed, stealing 21 bases. He also hit 16 triples, which are hits where the batter reaches third base. He then played for the Springfield Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds in 2010.

Major League Debut and Big Moments
Adron Chambers was called up to the St. Louis Cardinals on September 6, 2011. This was his chance to play in Major League Baseball! Just ten days later, he got his first big league hit. It was a triple that brought in runs for the Cardinals to win against the Philadelphia Phillies.
He had been put into the game to play defense. After his hit, he tried to turn it into an inside-the-park home run. But he was tagged out at home plate. Still, he got credit for a triple and two RBIs.
Adron was very excited about his first hit. He said, “I got a hit, an RBI, and a win all at the same time. I’m just trying to take it all in.”
Helping the Team Win
Adron also helped the Cardinals in other ways. On September 24, 2011, the Cardinals were playing the Chicago Cubs. Their chances of making the playoffs looked bad. But Adron started cheering and getting the fans excited.
The Cardinals then made an amazing comeback! Adron was put in as a pinch-runner. This means he ran for another player who had gotten on base. He then scored the winning run on a wild pitch. This win was one of many that helped the Cardinals reach the playoffs.
On October 28, 2011, Adron was added to the Cardinals' World Series roster. This happened right before Game 7 of the 2011 World Series. The Cardinals went on to win the World Series that year!
Adron continued to play for the Cardinals in 2012 and 2013. He split his time between the main team and their minor league teams. After the 2013 season, he became a free agent.
Later Baseball Career
After leaving the Cardinals, Adron Chambers continued his baseball journey. He signed a minor league deal with the Houston Astros in November 2013. He played for their Triple-A team, the Oklahoma City RedHawks. He started strong but got injured early in the season.
In June 2014, he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. He played for their Triple-A team, the Buffalo Bisons. Later, in December 2014, he signed a minor league deal with the Chicago Cubs.
Adron also played in independent baseball leagues. In 2016, he played for the Bridgeport Bluefish and then the Ottawa Champions. With the Ottawa Champions, he helped his team win the Championship title in September 2016. He played for them again in 2017.
He also played for the Sussex County Miners in 2017. In 2018, he signed a minor league deal with the Philadelphia Phillies. He played for their Triple-A team, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. In 2019, he returned to the Ottawa Champions for a second time.
