Afton Williamson was born in Toledo, Ohio. She went to college and earned two degrees. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University. Later, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
Acting Career Highlights
Afton Williamson began her acting career on Broadway. In 2010, she was an understudy for Kerry Washington in the play Race. She later took over Washington's role.
