Agiabampo is a small community, often called a hamlet, located in the southern part of the Mexican state of Sonora. A hamlet is a very small settlement, usually even smaller than a village. Agiabampo is part of the Huatabampo Municipality, which is like a local government area.
In 2010, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) counted the people living in Agiabampo. INEGI is an important organization in Mexico that collects information about the country's population and how people live. Their count showed that Agiabampo had 409 inhabitants, meaning 409 people lived there at that time.
