Trail Safety
In 2013, a rockslide happened near the falls. This event caused the trail to be closed. The U.S. Forest Service closed the path for safety. They warned about the danger of falling rocks.
Even though the trail was closed, some people still hike there. There are no official signs saying it is closed now. However, it is very important to be careful. The Forest Service has said the trail will be rerouted. This is to avoid rockslide dangers. Always use extreme caution if you visit the falls. You can find more information on the Forest Service website.
