Becoming a Mathematician

Agnieszka Malinowska studied math at the University of Warsaw. She earned her master's degree there in 1995. That same year, she started working at Bialystok University of Technology. She began as a teaching assistant. Later, in 2003, she earned her doctorate degree from the Polish Academy of Sciences. This is a very high degree in academics. After getting her doctorate, she became an assistant professor at Bialystok University of Technology. She later became an associate professor.

Agnieszka Malinowska has written several books about advanced math topics. She often writes these books with other mathematicians. Her books include:
