His Legacy and Shrine

What Happened to His Shrine?

Sadly, in 2014, the shrine of Sheikh Ahmed Ar-Rifai was destroyed. This act was carried out by an extremist group known as the ISIS. Despite the destruction of the physical building, his teachings and legacy continue to inspire people around the world.
