Aimee Richardson (born 29 December 1997) is an actress from Northern Ireland. She is well-known for playing Princess Myrcella Baratheon in the first two seasons of the TV show Game of Thrones.

Aimee Richardson was born in Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland, on December 29, 1997. Her first big acting role was in 2008. She played a character named Georgina in a romantic comedy movie called Miss Conception.
Becoming a Princess on TV
In 2011, Aimee got a role in the very popular TV series Game of Thrones. She played Princess Myrcella Baratheon. Her character was sent away in the story, so Aimee did not appear in the third or fourth seasons of the show.
Later, it was announced that the character of Myrcella would return for the fifth season. However, the role was given to another actress, Nell Tiger Free. The people who made the show did not explain why they changed the actress.
Aimee Richardson had a funny and positive reaction to this news. She made a short video on Vine. In the video, she was sitting on a sidewalk wearing a princess crown.
