Related shows Robot Wars

Airmageddon is a cool British-Canadian TV show for kids. It's a game show about technology that was shown on CBBC in 2016. The hosts were Will Best and Rachel Stringer. In the show, teams of kids use special remote-controlled flying machines called drones. The show was also the first TV appearance for child actor Rohith Manikonda.

How the Show Works

Airmageddon was a game show where teams competed with drones. The show had a similar structure to Robot Wars. It started with eight heats, then moved to two semi-finals, and finally, a grand final.

Meet the Resident Drones

These special drones lived in the "Airena" and helped with the challenges.

Air Marshall

This drone was like the referee of the Airena. It would announce when a challenge started. The Air Marshall also made sure everyone followed the rules.

P.I.G. (Personalised Interactive Gyrocopter)

P.I.G. was a drone shaped like a pig! Its job was to show how each challenge worked. If the Air Marshall couldn't do its job, P.I.G. would step in and oversee the challenges.

G.U.A.R.D. (Giant Unmanned Aerial Reconnaissance Drone)

G.U.A.R.D. was a very large drone. It was built to help with defense. People often said it wasn't the smartest drone around!

W.A.S.P. (Weaponised Assault Ship)

This drone looked like a wasp. It was armed with a special spark gun, which was like its stinger.

B.U.G.s (Basic Unmanned Gyrocopter)

The B.U.G.s were a group of three drones shaped like bugs. They were added in the second series of the show. Their main purpose was to fly around and distract the teams during the second round of challenges.
