Aisha Sasha John (born September 16, 1980) is a talented Canadian artist. She is known for her amazing work as a poet, a dancer who sings, and an artist.

Aisha Sasha John was born in Montreal, Canada. She went to university at the University of Toronto and the University of Guelph.

Her first book of poems was called The Shining Material. It came out in 2011. Her second book, THOU, was published in 2014. This book was a finalist for two important awards: the ReLit Awards and the Trillium Book Award for Poetry. Her third book of poems, I have to live., was published in 2017. It was also a finalist for the Griffin Poetry Prize, which is a big award for poetry.

Besides writing poems, Aisha Sasha John also creates and performs dances. She was part of a group called WIVES. This group focused on feminist performance art. In early 2017, her dance performance called Let's understand what it means to be here (together) was shown at Union Station in Toronto. In June 2017, Aisha Sasha John presented another performance, the aisha of oz, at the Whitney Museum in New York City.
