Akbar Abdi (Persian: اکبر عبدی) is a famous Iranian actor. He was born on August 26, 1960. He is known for his many roles in movies and TV shows. Akbar Abdi has won several important awards for his acting. These include two Crystal Simorgh awards and a Hafez Award. He also received an award from Iran's Film Critics and Writers Association.
Akbar Abdi's Acting Journey
Akbar Abdi started his acting career in 1981. His first role was in a children's TV series. It was called “The Traffic Neighborhood”. Dariush Moadebian directed this show.
He has acted in many popular films. Some of his well-known movies are “The Actor”, “Delshodegan”, and “The Snowman”. He also starred in the film "Ejareh-Nesheenha", which means "The Tenants". He is known for playing different kinds of characters.
In June 2016, Akbar Abdi had a Kidney transplant. This was a big health event for him.
