Alan Rudolph was born in Los Angeles, California. His father, Oscar Rudolph, was also a television director and actor.
Film Career
Alan Rudolph became very interested in making movies. He learned a lot from famous director Robert Altman. Rudolph worked as an assistant director on Altman's films like The Long Goodbye and Nashville.
