Early Life and Education

Alanna Fields was born in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, in 1990. She went to Trinity Washington University and earned a degree in Literature. Later, she studied photography at the Pratt Institute. She finished her Master of Fine Arts degree in photography in 2019.

Her Art and What It Means

Alanna Fields is known for her unique art. She often uses old materials like photographs and documents in her work. These materials are called "archival" because they come from historical collections.
