Alba Posse sits right on the banks of the Uruguay River. This river forms a natural border between Argentina and Brazil. Across the river, you'll find the Brazilian town of Porto Maua.

You can travel between Alba Posse and Porto Maua using ferries and boats. There's even a plan to build a bridge here in the future! This would make it much easier for people and goods to move between the two countries.

To get to Alba Posse, you can use Provincial Highway 103. This highway connects to National Route 14, which is a major road in Argentina.

What People Do for a Living

The main way people earn money in Alba Posse is through farming, also known as agriculture. Farmers grow many different crops here. These include cassava (a root vegetable), tobacco, citrus fruits like oranges, and tea. They also grow special plants called aromatic herbs.

Besides growing crops, people in Alba Posse also work in logging, which means cutting down trees for wood. Raising animals is another important activity. Farmers keep cattle (cows) and pigs.
