What is the Northern Busway?
The Northern Busway is like a special highway for buses. It helps buses avoid traffic jams, which means you can get to your destination faster! Albany Station is a key stop on this busway. However, the special bus lanes do not yet reach Albany Station from either the north or the south.
What Can You Find at Albany Station?
At Albany Busway Station, you will find everything you need for a smooth trip.

Where Does the Busway Go From Here?
If you travel south from Albany Station, the next stop is Constellation Busway Station. If you travel north, the next station is Hibiscus Coast Busway Station. The special busway lanes are still being built to connect these stations fully.

In 2015, two important groups, NZ Transport Agency and Auckland Transport, were working together. Their goal was to extend the special bus lanes northward. They wanted to connect Constellation Station all the way to Albany Station. This will make bus travel even faster and easier for everyone.
