The Albers Brothers Milling Company building is a historic mill and office building in Portland, Oregon. It is located right next to the Willamette River.
In the early 1900s, the Albers brothers, who came from Germany, built a huge business here. They made flour and special food for animals. Their company became the biggest of its kind on the West Coast!
This building, finished in 1911, was where they made, stored, and shipped their products. It also had their main offices. It is the oldest flour or animal feed mill still standing in Portland.
You can see tall, round towers called silos on one side of the building. These silos are painted with pictures of the products the mill used to make. It was like a big advertisement!
The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. This means it's an important historical site. The milling company had already moved out by then. In 1989, the building was changed into offices.
