Albert Gran (born August 4, 1862 – died December 16, 1932) was an actor from Norway who became famous in American movies and on stage. He was best known for his roles in drama and light comedy films.

Albert Gran was born in Bergen, Norway. His parents were Albert Nicolai Gran and Auguste Schwarting. In 1914, he moved to the United States.
Albert Gran started his acting career in movies in 1916. He appeared in 44 films between 1916 and 1933. He often played "character roles." A character actor plays unusual or interesting characters, not usually the main hero or heroine.
He acted alongside famous stars of his time. For example, he played Duke Travina with Marion Davies in Beverly of Graustark (1926). He was also Paul Boul with Janet Gaynor in Seventh Heaven (1927). Later, he appeared as B. Bickering Brown with Joan Crawford in Our Modern Maidens (1929).
Albert Gran sadly died in an automobile accident in Los Angeles, California. He was 70 years old. This happened before his very last film was released.
