Albert Pahimi Padacké (born 15 November 1966) is a politician from Chad. He served as the Prime Minister of Chad two times. His first term was from 2016 to 2018. His second term was from April 2021 to October 2022.

Early Life and Education
Albert Pahimi Padacké was born in Gouin, a town in Chad, in November 1966. He went to the University of N'Djamena. There, he studied law and earned a master's degree.
Political Career
Early Roles in Government
In the 1990s, Albert Pahimi Padacké started his political career. He served as a minister in charge of finance and trade. Later, he held positions like Secretary of State for Finances. He also became the Minister of Mines, Energy, and Oil.
Member of Parliament
In 2002, he was elected to Chad's parliament. He represented the Pala area. From 2002 to 2005, he was also part of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa. This is a group of countries working together in Central Africa. After this, he became the Minister of Agriculture.
Presidential Election
In 2006, Albert Pahimi Padacké ran for president of Chad. He was a candidate for the National Rally for Democracy party. He finished third in the election.
More Ministerial Positions
After the election, he continued to serve in the government. He was the Minister of Justice starting in 2007. Later, in 2008, he became the Minister of Posts, Information Technologies, and Communications.
Serving as Prime Minister
Albert Pahimi Padacké was first appointed Prime Minister by President Idriss Déby in February 2016. He served in this role until May 2018.
He became Prime Minister again in April 2021. This was part of a new transitional government. He resigned from this position in October 2022. Mahamat Déby then appointed Saleh Kebzabo as the new Prime Minister.
Recent Political Activity
In March 2024, his political party, the National Rally for Democracy in Chad, chose him as their candidate. He ran in the presidential election held on May 6, 2024.
