Playing for Clubs

Early Career and FK Sarajevo

Albin Pelak started his football journey in youth teams. He later became a very popular player for FK Sarajevo. Fans and sports reporters praised him for his hard work and leadership on the field.

Pelak was a key part of a very talented youth team at Sarajevo. This team had many players born in 1981 and 1982. Many of these players, like Alen Škoro and Džemal Berberović, went on to have successful careers.

Playing Abroad

Pelak also tried playing football in other countries. In 2002, he joined Cerezo Osaka in Japan. The next year, in 2003, he moved to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. He did not stay at these clubs for a long time. However, it was reported that he earned a good amount of money from these moves. For example, his deal with Cerezo Osaka was said to be worth €1 million.

Moving to Rival Clubs

After his time abroad, Pelak returned to play for FK Sarajevo. Later, he made a surprising move to Željezničar. This was a big deal because Željezničar is a major rival of FK Sarajevo. On April 4, 2009, Pelak left Željezničar. He then joined Olimpik, another team in the Bosnian Premier League.

Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team

Albin Pelak also played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He made his first appearance in August 2002. This was in a friendly match against Serbia and Montenegro.

He played a total of two games for his country. His second and final international game was in October 2005. This was a World Cup qualification match against San Marino. He did not score any goals for the national team.
